6-Day Retro Rainbow Baby Blanket Crochet Pattern by Betty McKnit
This pattern is a variation of the 6-Day Kid Blanket (6DKB). It is comprised of the same six rows of single crochet, double crochet, and double crochet “granny” clusters, but it does not chevron. This drama-free 6DKB stripe version is called the Tranquility stripe. The texture is both easy to work up and visually appealing in dreamy retro rainbow colors.

What’s the difference between this pattern and the original 6DKB?
Size - this pattern makes a toddler blanket as did the original.
Yarn Weight - The original blanket used chunky weight yarn, this pattern uses DK.
Edge and Border - this pattern has instructions for an edge and a custom-designed-by-Betty border, the original only gave instructions for tassels.
Stitches: this pattern uses the same six rows of stitches that the 6-Day Kid Blanket uses but the original 6DKB is a chevron style and this version does not chevron.
